  • Enviolo Continuously Variable Hub Transmission

  • Enviolo

Formerly called Nuvinci, Enviolo is a unique drive system that doesn't have stepped gear 'levels' but rather a transmission that you can dial - almost like a volume knob.

    Continuously Variable Hub Transmission

Enviolo's unique stepless shifting products, incorporating the revolutionary NuVinci® technology, allows you to change the gear ratio between your pedals and rear wheel in one continuous motion. Just twist the shifter slightly on the handlebar and the gear ratio is changed to any ratio within its range. This is easy to do, no matter if you are freewheeling, pedaling under load or waiting at a stoplight.

Moreover, the products are practically maintenance-free, as they are made up of self-contained systems. They are also specially designed to withstand the high torque of an eBike and can be combined with a Gates belt drive.

    HOW DOES ENVIOLO WORK?

Shift whenever you like, even at a stop, with no ‘steps’ or ‘gears’ to shift between. As you twist the shifter on the handlebar, your pedaling gets easier or harder in a seamless way.

    STRONG ENOUGH FOR AN EBIKE?

With Up to 500 W and 120 Nm continuous torque capability, the Enviolo hub is ideal for even the highest power electric bike systems when paired with your innate strength and power output.

    The beloved animated display

If gear inches and gear numbers have you feeling lost, you might just love the Enviolo graphical display that changes in real time as you dial the shifter.
