Front-loaders come of age
Front-loaders are not new, but we've been waiting for the right one to come along. Low & behold, Riese & Müller offers up two amazing families of front-loaders–the full-suspension Load 60 and Load 75; and the Packsters, available in a narrow 40cm box configuration, as well as 60 and 80cm box sizes.
What makes the Load different?
You'll instantly recognize the Load by its unique full-suspension design. Using a sprung rear triangle, the Load suspends both the cargo and the rider to achieve both better comfort and better handling. As well, the Load can be configured with a Bosch Speed motor for assist up to 28 mph; at higher speeds full suspension will definitely be a big plus.
The Load is built for adventure–from the sturdy aluminum truss frame construction to the front and rear suspension, to the durable components. Don't be afraid to take it off the beaten path.
When compared with other front-loading cargo bikes, we think you'll agree that the Load offers a compelling combination of easy access, utility, comfort, performance, for ultimate riding satisfaction.
Performance-oriented design
The Load features an adjustable stem that allows for instant height and angle adjustments, no tools required. Riders of any size can fit this bike to their body not simply for comfort, but also for confident control. The adjustable stem is also a big plus when two riders of different physical size need to share the same bike.
Full suspension on the Load isn't (just) about bombing downhills–it's more about increasing control and comfort as you tackle all sorts of roads in the varied urban landscape.
What can the Load carry?
Front loaders are very common in northern Europe for kid carrying. Why? Because parents like to see their kids. And, front-loader 'bucket' bikes make it easy to enclose kids in a weather-proof canopy, available as an option with the Load.
The Load has plenty of options as to cargo box configuration, including a low sidewall bucket, a high sidewall bucket, hard top covers and a rear pannier rack (standard in some configurations) if you've got still more to carry.
Doing more by bike
If you're looking for an incredibly capable bike that doesn't sacrifice performance or comfort, and that can carry kids and cargo with ease, come try either version of the Load.
