  • Three's Company: It's about time someone put together three of the most exciting technological advancements in cycling: cargo, electric and suspension. X-Fusion rear coil suspension and a  front suspension fork cushions both the rider and the load.
  • Designed For Riding: Low step-over top tube ensures the Load is easy to get on and off of, even when loaded. You'll be amazed at how easy and fun the Load is to ride.
  • Totally, 100%, Fully Loaded: Fully Load-ed with everything you need to ride including integrated front and rear lights, a rear cargo rack, sturdy metal fenders and fantastic tires.
  • Carry Cargo on or Off-Road: While not built for the most technical trails, this full-suspension cargo bike can take most fire roads and some singletrack.
  • Optional Dual Battery For Incredible Range: Upgrade to the new Bosch Dual Battery System fromfor 1000 Wh of lithium-ion power, and the best possible range on any cargo bike.
  • Super Duty Kickstand: Many have said it, and we agree: a cargo bike is only as good as its kickstand. The Load's kickstand locks your bike in place for loading and unloading.
  • Adjustable for performance and comfort: Seatpost height is fully adjustable and stem height and angle can be changed on the fly without tools. Adjustable stem angle means all sizes of riders can customize the fit of the Load for a more confident, comfortable ride.
  • A Warranty You Can Trust: Riese & Müller's warranty is backed by The New Wheel True Warranty™  and upheld by our professional service department. Includes 5-year frame coverage, 2 years for electronics, and 2 years for all other components (some exceptions apply).

Our Take

All Riese & Muller bikes are assembled in their factory in Weisenstadt Germany. This means you can customize virtually everything about the bike, including color, drivetrain, motor and battery capacity. Additionally Riese & Muller cargo bikes have many cargo bike accessories for the Packster.

Front Loaders Come of Age

Front loader bikes are hardly new, but we've been waiting for the right one to come along. Low & behold, Riese & Muller now offers 4 front loaders in 2 families - Load and Packster.  This new addition to the Load family - a longer, 3-kid friendly full-suspension cargo bike is a welcome addition to the offering.

What's Makes The Load Different?

The Load is instantly recognized by its full suspension design. Using a sprung rear triangle, the Load suspends both the cargo and the rider to achieve the obvious effects - more comfort and better handling. As well, the Load can be configured with a Bosch mid-motor that will assist up to 28 mph, and if you're considering doing speeds like this on the Load, full suspension will definitely be a plus.

Can I really Carry Three Kids?

Surprisingly, the additional length of the Load 75 has virtually no perceptible impact on the handling of the bike.  If you're concerned about getting up your hill with the added weight - consider the Bosch CX Drive for maximum climbing assist.

How All-Terrain is The Load 75?

The Load is a cargo bike built for adventure - from the sturdy aluminum truss frame construction to the front and rear suspension, to the durable components, you shouldn't be afraid to take it off the beaten path. When compared with other front loader cargo bikes, it is uniquely easy to get a foot over the Load - even when loaded - thanks to a low top tube.

Performance Oriented Design

The Load features a stem that allows for instant height and angle adjustment, no tools required. Riders of any size can fit this bike to their body not simply for comfort, but to feel confident and in control.

Full Suspension on the Load is not (just) about bombing downhills - it's about increasing control and comfort as you tackle rough roads in the urban landscape.

Watch the video for the original Load here for full details on this unique bike.

What can the Load carry?

Front loaders are the European standard for kid carrying. Why? Because parents like to see their kids. And, front loader 'bucket' bikes make it easy to enclose kids in a weather-proof canopy, available as an option with the Load.  If you need to carry 3 kids and find yourself short on grocery space, the Load offers a rear cargo rack as well.

Doing More By Bike

So, if you're looking for an incredibly capable bike that doesn't sacrifice performance or comfort, come try the Load, by Riese and Muller.
