In our travels through Europe, we have enjoyed many rides on Dutch bikes over flat terrain. The Arroyo, at first glance, appeared to be a bike better suited for the flats. Upon closer inspection (and some blissful test rides) we realized that the Arroyo is a new breed of bicycle. Incorporating all of the comfort and convenience of Dutch engineered (and manufactured) bicycles, while remaining peppy and responsive thanks to the Bosch mid-drive, the Gazelle Arroyo has become one of our favorite all around commuters.
From the pedal forward riding position (which positions your feet ahead of your hips, allowing flat feet on the ground at stops for most riders) to the adjustable stem, to the comfortable grips, saddle and the integrated twist-action bell, the Arroyo shines as an urban vehicle. A fully enclosed chain guard keeps your pants and dresses clean and dry under all weather conditions. Sturdy fenders, integrated lighting and a seriously useful rack round out a complete package. With it's comfort, elegance, and performance, the Arroyo is guaranteed to make you feel like cycling!
