Choice is a cornerstone of the new Rise. It starts from choosing spec, suspension, and color to make your Rise yours. But it doesn't stop there. You can customize both range and power both through a sleek new Range Extender and the ability to select motor torque. With choice, you get the right bike for all your rides.

Intended for big rides

Rise's custom batteries have the highest energy density currently on the market, meaning massive range in a lightweight package. And thanks to Orbea's proprietary RS tune, your Rise can take you further with more than 10,000 feet of climbing on a single charge with the bigger battery options.

Powered by Shimano EP8 RS Drive

Orbea partnered with Shimano on a customized version of their phenomenal EP8 drive. The "RS" version of the EP8 offers two ride profiles that are perfectly adjusted for trail riding. This custom tunes combined with the quality of Shimano gives you both great performance and dependability.

NEW RS Control System

Available on Rise M10, M-Team, and LTD (SL and LT), the RS Control System makes every ride more intuitive and connected. One battery powers motor, shifters, and dropper, with the RS HMI Interface and MC10 RS Dropper delivering seamless control. Smart features like Push to Drop, Partial Drop, Super Boost, and Profile Change come standard—plus more on the way. At just 564g, it’s 140g lighter than other eDroppers.

The most connected ride

Orbea have worked hard to increase front triangle stiffness by 8% and rear triangle stiffness by 14% giving the perfect balance. This is where their testing shows the sweet spot for handling lies; stiff enough for hard cornering and braking, but not too stiff which would limit grip and increase rider fatigue.
