Aventon Motor Systems
Aventon designs and builds its own ebike drive systems—from refined rear hub-drive motors that make city riding effortless, to the powerful A100 mid-drive built for the trail. Every Aventon ebike is tied together by the Aventon Control Unit (ACU) and the Aventon app, bringing 4G connectivity, GPS tracking, security, and deep ride personalization to the whole range.
Hub-Drive
AVENTON HUB-DRIVE
Aventon's rear hub-drive motors deliver smooth, quiet, throttle-and-pedal-assist power that's perfect for commuting and everyday adventures. Found across the Level, Aventure, Soltera, Sinch, and Abound lineups, these geared hub motors offer up to 750 W of power (with even higher peak output).
On Aventon's smart bikes, a torque sensor delivers responsive, natural-feeling assist, with Class 1–3 speeds to match how and where you ride.
Mid-Drive
AVENTON A100 MID-DRIVE
The A100 is Aventon's first mid-drive motor—purpose-built for eMTB and adventure riding on bikes like the Ramblas and Current. Centrally mounted for balanced handling, it delivers a class-leading 100 N·m of torque and 250 W nominal output (up to 750 W peak).
Four ride modes (Eco, Trail, Auto, and Turbo), IP67 water resistance, low noise, and app-based Ride Tune let you dial in exactly how it climbs and accelerates.
Range & Battery
Aventon's batteries are integrated into the frame for a clean look and balanced ride, delivering the range you need for long commutes and all-day adventures—with mid-drive efficiency stretching range even further on the trail.
Aventon Control Unit
THE ACU: YOUR BIKE'S BRAIN
The Aventon Control Unit (ACU) is the heart of the Aventon smart ebike ecosystem. With built-in 4G IoT, it brings GPS tracking, remote notifications, an integrated bike lock, and a startup password for security—plus the first year of 4G service free.
It also powers smart riding features like Ride Tune customization, Wheel Lift Control, and Jump/Air Time logging.
